Insight Global is seeking an HR Assistant to support a well-established manufacturing organization in Menomonee Falls, WI. This company is currently growing and investing in its HR infrastructure, creating a strong opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in Human Resources.

This position will be highly involved in the day-to-day HR needs of a manufacturing workforce. The HR Assistant will serve as a go-to resource for employees, maintain personnel and labor information, support HR reporting, and assist with benefits and employee questions.

The role will initially focus heavily on labor reporting and reconciliation , with the opportunity to take on broader HR responsibilities as the individual becomes established within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Review and maintain daily labor reporting information and ensure employee hours are accurately recorded
• Reconcile labor information with payroll records and provide reporting to Accounting
• Maintain and update employee information within ADP
• Serve as a first point of contact for employee HR questions and concerns
• Document and manage employee absence/call-in information
• Maintain personnel records, employee data, and employment dates
• Assist employees with benefits-related questions and connect them with the appropriate resources
• Prepare recurring HR reports and maintain accurate documentation
• Assist with transitioning paper personnel records into electronic formats
• Support HR training, employee certification tracking, and other HR initiatives
• Partner with HR leadership on additional projects as the role expands

Required Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in Human Resources , such as an HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, or similar position
• Approximately 1–3 years of HR experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working with employee records, reporting, and confidential information
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Ability to professionally handle employee questions and difficult or sensitive conversations
• Ability to work 100% on-site in Menomonee Falls, WI
• Ability to consistently work a 7:00 AM start time Monday–Friday

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ADP or a similar HRIS/payroll system
• Experience supporting payroll, timekeeping, or labor reporting
• Previous HR experience within manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or another hourly-workforce environment
• Experience maintaining or digitizing employee records
• Exposure to structured employee training or certification programs
• Experience supporting compensation or job-grading initiatives
