This intermediate environmental position in the Department of Environmental Protection's Office of Resilience and Coastal Protection provides technical assistance for planning, funding, permitting, and monitoring of resilience adaptation projects across Florida. The role supports the Florida Resilient Program and requires broad knowledge of engineering, geology, data science, GIS, and environmental science. The incumbent will conduct technical reviews of projects, assist with grant management, coordinate with state and federal agencies, and help develop policy and procedures to improve coastal and inland flood resilience. At least six years of verifiable related experience (or equivalent post-secondary education on year-for-year basis) Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ArcGIS desktop and mobile applications Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing Skilled in methods of collecting, compiling, organizing, and analyzing data Ability to apply critical thinking for planning/infrastructure problems Valid driver's license and ability to travel #J-18808-Ljbffr
