Job TitleSummit County Public Health is seeking a dedicated and community focused Registered Nurse to join our team.Job DescriptionThis position plays a vital role in protecting and promoting the health of Summit County residents through disease prevention, health education, clinical services, harm reduction, community partnerships and public health emergency preparedness. This position works collaboratively with individuals, families, healthcare providers, schools, community organizations, and local agencies to deliver public health programs and services that advance health equity and improve quality of life throughout Summit County.QualificationsCandidates must possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program. A minimum of two (2) years in community health, public health, clinical nursing, case management, or a related nursing field is preferred. Applicant must hold a current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado and maintain current BLS and CPR certifications throughout employment. Reliable transportation and vehicle insurance, valid Colorado Driver's License and the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 30 lbs. is required. Must be familiar with MS Office and able to apply knowledge of computers to work within secure databases.
