Our extensive array of community-based services are fully integrated, bilingual and culturally competent.Maintain all aspects of the general ledger for accuracy, timeliness and completeness.The overall responsibilities of the Assistant Program Director include assisting the Administrator of the Community Residences with the management and operation of OMH funded programs across within the Community Residence. The Assistant Program Director oversees the operations of all departments to assure that they follow agency procedures and operates in accordance with all regulatory agency requirements. The Assistant Program Director performs all tasks and duties delegated by the Administrator.Key Essential FunctionsMaintain general ledger accounting functions.Reconcile assigned intercompany accounts.Reconcile assigned account receivables.Prepare bank reconciliations.Prepare cost report schedules and reports.Maintain fixed asset schedules and record monthly depreciation expense.Prepare and post monthly entries closing entries.Close-out accrued balance sheet accounts.Manage government grants as assigned.Prepare audit schedules and work with external auditors.Produce ad hoc analysis reports and projects as requested.Participate in the preparation of annual budgets.Research with regard to appropriately recording accounting transactions with document support.Other duties as assigned by Supervisors.RequirementsBachelor's degree in business.5+ years of progressive accounting experience required.Non-Profit experience a plus.Knowledge of GAAP and Uniform Guidance cost principles a plus.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Excellent verbal and written communication.Experience with Fund-Ez and Sage Fixed Asset a plus.Why Join Us?Acacia Network provides a comprehensive and competitive benefits package to our employees.
